The MLS season kicked off this morning with a bang as the Colorado Rapids narrowly edged the LA Galaxy 1-0.
Elsewhere in the league, Sporting KC came from a goal down to beat New England 2-1 and Orlando City SC beat the New York Red Bulls 2-1.

6. NFL: Baltimore Ravens 28, Cincinnati Bengals 17

The Baltimore Ravens escaped with a 28-17 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. Joe Flacco threw for 302 yards and two touchdowns, while Danny Woodhead added 87 yards and a score on the ground. Terrell Suggs led the defense with seven tackles and a sack, while Steve Smith posted 123 yards on six catches.
The Ravens (5-5) move to within a game of the Pittsburgh Steelers (5-4) for first place in the AFC North. The Bengals (4-6) fall to one game behind the Cleveland Browns (5-5) in the AFC North.

Muguruza, who is ranked second in the world, is a former Wimbledon champion, and is known for her powerful groundstrokes. 9. ATP: Stan Wawrinka Wins Swiss Open
